As
the Broker/owner of Vintage Real Estate, LLC, and as
a practicing Realtor®
with
30 years of experience, Sue Schmitz brings a lot to the
table when it comes to real estate transactions. She
is a lifelong resident of the South Hills of Pittsburgh. She
has completed numerous real estate classes and earned many
designations. Included in her real estate education
are: A graduate of the Realtors Institute earning a GRI and
a CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation; an ABR
(Accredited Buyer Representative); and she has obtained her
Broker and Broker-Appraiser Licenses.
Sue
began her real estate career at Hammill-Quinlan
Realty/Merrill-Lynch Realty. After spending a few
years there, she joined the team at RE/MAX South, Inc.
Over the next 17 years, Sue became a valuable member of the
Re/MAX family. During her career at RE/MAX she received many
sales awards and was also recognized by the region with the
Team Spirit Award. In 1997, she decided it was time
for a change. She spent time at Northwood Realty and
Cottrill Real Estate, an independently-owned firm.
After
experiencing the kind of quality customer service that an
independent office could offer its customers, Sue knew that
she wanted to start her own real estate company; a company
that would combine old-school service with new-age
technology. And thus, Vintage Real Estate was formed.
Since 2002 Sue has been serving her customers with years of
experience, the industry’s latest technology, the
flexibility of owning her own company, and the quality,
personal, “vintage” service on which she bases all of
her transactions.
Sue’s
fields of specialization include: National and International
Relocation (Sue is a preferred relocation specialist for
Bombardier Transportation, N.A.) and
Real
estate owned properties, specializing in foreclosure work.
She has liquidated properties for S.N. Servicing
Corporation, M.G.I.C., Chase Manhattan, Bank of
America and many other lenders. She also enjoys working with
first-time homebuyers and services southern Allegheny
and northern Washington Counties.
She
is a current member of the Washington-Greene Board of
Realtors and a past member of the Realtors Association of
Metropolitan Pittsburgh. She also holds membership in the
Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, the National
Association of Realtors, the Peters Township Chamber of
Commerce, Peters Creek Historic Society, and the Real Estate
Buyers Agency Council. Throughout her career, Sue has
won various awards, including the President’s Club Award
for numerous years at RE/MAX; the RE/MAX North/West Regional
Team Spirit Award and has been recognized for her
participation in the Operation Future Jobs program sponsored
by PPG Industries. She is also a member of the Andron
Epiphanon Fraternity, where she is a member of the million
dollar club.
Finally,
when asked for references, Sue will most likely tell you to
talk to any of her 500+ satisfied customers.
